In the winter of 1992 a group of environmental-anarchists camping in the remote English wilderness are stalked by a deranged psychopath. As the lunatic's blood-lust is awoken one of the activists manages to escape and the killer is shot. The following day investigating policemen discover the dying man - his reign of terror has come to an end!

15 years later, best selling thriller-novelist and newly-wed Susan (Charisma Carpenter Buffy The Vampire Slayer / Angel / The Expendables) relocates from California with her shrewd husband David (Paul Sculfor Di Di Hollywood) to his native England and into a picturesque manor house secluded deep within the same countryside. The perfect location for a fresh start after her recent mental collapse, Susan hopes the change in scenery will allow her to complete her long awaited new book. However the tranquility of the setting soon takes a nightmarish turn when Susan begins seeing and hearing strangers around their home and then has a chilling encounter in the woods with Peck (Ricci Harnett 28 Days Later / Rise Of The Footsoldier) a strange local man.

After a terrifying late night incident in the house leaves her so shaken that the local police are called in to investigate, David asks Peck, the property's groundskeeper to look after his wife while he is away on business in London. Alone in the house with Peck, Susan soon senses that he has a suspicious connection to the area and the murders that happened there years before. As the pressure builds for her to complete her novel and the disturbances progress into horrifying recurring visions of a massacre, reality and delusion converge into one and Susan is tormented to the brink of madness.

Desperate to convince her husband and the isolated community that what she is experiencing is not another mental breakdown, Susan struggles desperately to unravel the mystery surrounding the house and discover who or what is behind the vivid nightmare she is living - but in doing so she unleashes an unsettling twist of fate upon the house...
